The False Teachings of JesusFalse Prophesies Luke 24 44 He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms." The name "Jesus" is not mentioned anywhere in the Old Testament. Nor does it say there will be a "son of God". This was is a blasphemous idea to the Jews and in clear violation of the Shema. The Old Testament does speak of the messiah, but clearly, Jesus was not the messiah. Mark 9 1 And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power." Matthew 16 28 I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." Luke 9 27 I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God." (The three verses above are a very good example of the Synoptic Problem.) Mark 16 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name
they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; Contradictions Matthew 5 22" But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell." But Jesus calls people fools many times. Matthew 23 17 "You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred?" Luke 11 40 "You foolish people! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?" Is Jesus in danger of hell fire? Or do his own rules not apply to him? And Jesus says that no man has ascended up to heaven except him. John 3 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man. This presents two problems. First, Elijah went into heaven. So the statement itself is patently false. 2 Kings 2 11 As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. Secondly, Jesus had not gone to heaven at the time this was spoken. Jesus was on Earth when this was spoken. Yet another contradiction in Jesus' statements is found in John. If Jesus bears witness of himself, is his testimony true or not true? John 8 14 Jesus answered, "Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. John 5 31 "If I testify about myself, my testimony is not valid.
Science Matthew 24 Mark 13 You would think the son of God would know that the moon does not emit light, but reflects it from the sun. And that the stars are billions of lightyears away. Much too far to "fall" onto the Earth. These verses too are examples of the Synoptic Problem.
