The False Prophesies of Jesus

In the New Testament Jesus is reported making many prophesies. If he was truly a god wouldn't his prophesies come true? But they didn't. Let's look at a few.

Mark 9

1 And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."

Matthew 16

28 I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."

Luke 9

27 I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God."

Not only have all the apostles died, but hundreds of generations since. And still Jesus has not come.

(These three verses are a good example of the Synoptic Problem.)

Luke 23

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence?

41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong."

42 Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."

43 Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

I thought Jesus didn't go to paradise the day he died, but rather laid about in a cave for three days, then got up, then went to heaven.
