Christian Faith

After years of observing Christian behavior I have to wonder just how many Christians really believe what they preach. In so many instances their behavior does not match what they claim to believe.

Praying to an Omniscient God

Christians claim that their god is omniscient. Yet they are constantly praying to him. Why? Shouldn't an all knowing god already know what they want?

The kind of prayers Christians offer also suggests that they don't really believe in the power of their god. If your god can truly do anything, why pester him with requests to win football games, to give you that raise, or to have that good looking boy/girl call you? If prayer really works and your god is truly powerful, why not ask for world peace? A cure for cancer? A end to world hunger? And why not pray for something tangible, real, and significant?

Faith in an All Powerful God

Christians also claim that their god is all powerful. Does this not mean that he is capable of healing every illness? Then why do Christians go to doctors? If they really believed that his will should be done, and that he had the power to do it, then they would trust him to do what is best for them and heal them as he saw fit.
